Armenia declares courts not competent to make legal rulings

Armenia’s top prosecutor, Gevorg Kostanian declares courts not competent to make legal rulings.

The European Court of Human Rights is expected to announce the final verdict on the appeal of the decision of the Second Chamber on Perincek vs. Switzerland until the end of this year. ECHR recently ruled against a Swiss court’s decision to sentence a Turkish academician of Law, Dr Dogu Perincek because of his views against the Armenian Lobby’s allegations. On the appeal court he was persecuted by the Celebrity Barristers Geoffrey Robertson and Amal Clooney, hired by the Armenian government.

Julie Bishop : “Turkey is an important partner and a crucial ally”

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop MP has spoken about the Motion on the Centenary of ANZAC Prime Minister Tony Abbott MP and Leader of Opposition Bill Shorten MP have moved on 12 May 2014.

The Motion is about the centenary of ANZAC but also “thanks to the people and the government of Turkey for their support of the centenary commemorations.

Spain rejects Armenian claims over 1915 events

Spain’s upper parliament has rejected a bill to recognize Armenian claims regarding the 1915 events.

The Senate of Spain on Wednesday dismissed the proposal tabled by Entesa – a political group active in the Catalonian region – with 130 votes against and 14 in favor, along with 68 abstentions.

Macaristan Parlamentosu Sözde Ermeni Soykırımı Yasa Tasarısı Önergesini Görüşmeyi Reddetti

Macaristan Parlamentosu’nda Sözde Ermeni Soykırımı yasa tasarısı önergesinin oylanması haberini alan Türk Büyükelçi Şakir Fakılı, önergenin komisyondan geçmemesi için yaptığı çalışmalar sonucu parlamentoda tasarının görüşülmesinin reddedilmesine katkı sağladı.
